YG TRICHOLOGY
Hair loss is the body's way of asking for help. We know how to listen.
At YG Trichology, we take a root-cause approach to hair & scalp health. Rather than chasing symptoms, we look at what's driving them - using advanced diagnostics, in-depth assessments, and clinical-grade treatments to build a plan that actually addresses the source.
Most people trying to regrow their hair are following a protocol that was never made for them. And that's exactly why it's not working.
Every client deserves to be truly heard. We take time to fully understand your full story before we ever make a recommendation.

“My hair began falling out when I was 19. I've gone to several doctors and been told it was just genetics. Honestly, it was nice to just finally be heard and feel seen."
— Linda M.
“Yolanda made everything so comfortable and very easy to understand. I need simple instructions! LOL”
— Carla C.
“I was NOT expecting such a detailed report about my hair, WOW. I learned so much about my hair and my health and the connection, I can't wait to get started on my protocol!.”
— Sara M.
“I've been dealing with scalp problems for years. I just thought it was my shampoo or the hair color. Yolanda is so skilled and knowledgeable in what she's doing. I've waited years to get these answers and relief.”
— Lisa O.
Just because your bloodwork falls within the normal range doesn’t necessarily mean your body has everything it needs for healthy hair growth.
When evaluating hair loss, I look beyond whether results are simply marked “normal.” I consider your individual levels, nutritional status, symptoms, medical history, and patterns of hair loss to better understand what may be affecting your hair.
Your blood sugar and insulin levels play an important role in your overall health, including your hair.
Insulin resistance can contribute to inflammation and hormonal changes that may influence hair growth and shedding. This is especially important when evaluating certain types of hair loss, including androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss).
Understanding your metabolic health can help us identify potential factors contributing to your hair concerns.
A healthy gut helps your body absorb essential nutrients, supports your immune system, and plays a role in managing inflammation—all of which can influence healthy hair growth.
While not all hair loss begins in the gut, ongoing digestive concerns, nutrient deficiencies, or chronic inflammation may provide important clues.
That’s why I believe in looking beyond the scalp and considering your overall health when investigating hair loss.
Have you ever wondered why minoxidil works well for some people but not for others?
Minoxidil must be activated by specific enzymes within your hair follicles before it can effectively support hair growth.
Because enzyme activity varies from person to person, treatment results can differ significantly.
Specialized testing may help provide insight into how your scalp responds to minoxidil.

Did you know that excessive hair shedding can begin 2–3 months after a triggering event?
A common type of temporary hair loss called telogen effluvium can occur after physical or emotional stress on the body.
Possible triggers include illness, significant stress, hormonal changes, nutritional changes, or starting or stopping certain medications and much more.
When evaluating sudden or excessive shedding, I don’t just focus on what’s happening today. I also look at what may have occurred several months earlier to help identify potential causes.

Every new client begins with a Hair & Scalp Assessment, available in-person or virtually for $375. It's a complete root-cause assessment - followed by a results review where we walk through your path forward.
A foundation blood panel is required as part of your assessment. You can order it online through my lab store front, or submit recent results from the last 90 days if you already have them. Depending on what your intake, scan and results reveal, I may recommend additional targeted labs - always optional and discussed with you first.
Clients notice a difference in shedding and scalp comfort within 6-12 weeks of consistent care. Changes in fullness are usually assessed at 3-6 months. Results vary. We track your progress with scopping mapping throughout your journey so you can see evidence - so just feel it.
Not at all. The assessment is simply a starting point. From there, we'll recommend a path that makes sense for you - whether that's a single treatment, a series, or one of our multi-protocols. There's no pressure, and no commitment required on day one.
Epigenetic Hair Testing reads signals from a small hair sample to show what your body is calling for right now - nutrient demand, environmental and lifestyle load, and food signals - over roughly the last 90 days in relation to your hair follicle needs. It is a wellness tool, not a diagnosis. Scans are spaced at least 90 days apart.
